Too often, relaxed performances involve simply turning down the sound and raising the lights in the auditorium. However, there are far better ways to engage our diverse audiences.
The UK Pantomime Association Trustees invite you to our sharing of good practice event with panelists, including Chris Jarvis (CBeebies presenter, Pantomime Director, Performer, and Writer), Annie Bannister (Freelance Access Consultant), and Dr Chris Abbott (Emeritus Reader in Assistive Technologies, Project leader supporting young people with disabilities), for a discussion and debate on making relaxed and accessible performances as inclusive as possible.
This event is open to pantomime producers, directors, performers, theatre venue staff, and educators.
Tickets are free, and the event will be followed by a networking session with light refreshments.
