Mobility & Facilities

Disabled Parking

The North Wall has no dedicated customer parking, and on-street parking bays are for resident permit holders at certain times of the day. Blue Badge Holders can park on the double yellow line immediately outside the main entrance on South Parade for up to three hours. Alternatively, unlimited parking is available on the single yellow line on the opposite side of the road after 4pm.

Wheelchair Users

There are two spaces reserved for wheelchair users for each performance, located to the rear of the auditorium. A bench is removed to accommodate each wheelchair.

For audience members wishing to transfer from their wheelchair to a seat, we ask that you inform the Box Office know of your requirements when booking tickets. Our front of house team are able to store wheelchairs safely in the foyer, and return them to you at the end of the performance.

Seating configurations can vary from show to show – please contact the box office on 01865 319450 or email us for the latest information.

Level Access & Entrance

There is an 8cm step from road level to pavement outside the main entrance. Alternatively, there is a ramped pavement 30 yards towards Banbury Road. There is level access from the pavement into The North Wall foyer, gallery and theatre.

Levels

Ground Floor: Box Office, Gallery/Foyer, Dance Studio and Theatre (stalls and lower gallery).

1st Floor: Theatre (upper gallery).

2nd Floor: Drama Studio.

3rd Floor: Technical Gallery.

A staircase and a lift give access to all levels.

The Bar

The bar is situated at the front desk, immediately in front of you as you come through the main entrance. A lowered counter can be found at the opposite end of the bar. It is open 45 minutes before a performance, and during the interval.

Toilets

Gentlemen’s and Disabled toilet facilities are in the foyer on the ground floor, and Ladies’ Toilets are on the 1st floor.

The Auditorium

The auditorium is a flexible space, with a variable capacity. Seats in the stalls all have backs to them; most gallery seats consist of padded benches with a padded bar on which to lean. Those who require a backed seat should make their preference clear at the time of booking.
