Autumn 2026 Shows On Sale Now

Welcome to The North Wall’s Autumn 2026 Season

Theatre highlights this season include LUNG’s multi-award￾winning production, Woodhill. Originally developed here at The North Wall, the show fuses documentary theatre and contemporary dance to explore the crisis facing prisons. We also welcome back Actors Touring Company with Darkling, a new play by Titas Halder about an ecological disaster in India, touring in co-production with Bush Theatre.  We are proud to champion new work that shines a light on urgent stories.

In September, BAFTA-winning writer Jack Rooke (Creator of Hulu / C4’s Big Boys) brings back his debut comedy-theatre show Good Grief. Featuring the original show (co-written with his 80-year old Nan Sicely) and some present day musings, this retrospective further explores grief, ambition, and being a class traitor. In the gallery, we’re welcoming back the Society of Wood Engravers and Oxford Printmakers Cooperative with their annual exhibitions – featuring an array of styles and techniques by two groups of talented artists.

Families with young children will welcome the return of Tiny Ideas Festival in September – the festival will take over arts and cultural venues across the city on 26 & 27 September, with shows by Page One Theatre and The Last Baguette taking place at The North Wall. October Half Term is also an exciting time for our youngest audience members – with a brand new show from M6 Theatre transporting us into the world of fairy tales, and Sonrisa Arts will be inviting us into a giant sleepover den in our pajamas to Dance in the Dark.

Comedy fans won’t be disappointed with the line-up of stand-up shows this autumn, with appearances from famous faces on the comedy circuit including Milton Jones, Tez Ilyas, Ania Magliano and Catherine Bohart, to name a few. And if you’re a folk music aficionado, then don’t miss the return of two stand-out acts: Megson, known for their intelligent songwriting, exquisite musicianship and Northern humour; and Emily Portman, the award-winning singer and songwriter whose new album bring ballads and folk tales to life. Jazz and swing lovers should look out for the return of a new show from The Hot Jazz Vagabonds, whisking audiences off on an adventure on the Orient Express.

Autumn also sees the return of one of our favourite community events of the year: Cutteslowe Light Trail. Created in partnership with Cutteslowe Primary School and the Cutteslowe Community Association, this fantastic free event will take place on 14 November and features a lantern display, a sound and light installation from OCM, and more. The season rounds off with a trip down the rabbit hole with Creation Theatre and their festive production, Alice in Winter Wonderland. It promises to be as magical and joyful as last year’s take on The Nutcracker.
