Theatre Technician (Sound)
Full time (£19,000 – £20,000 p.a)

The North Wall provides opportunities for artists, the public and young people to make and experience theatre and art of the highest quality.  The North Wall is situated in the grounds of St Edward’s School; the School is the venue’s principal sponsor.

A Sound Technician is required to start as soon as possible.  Working alongside the Technical Manager and Stage Manager, the Sound Technician will maintain a very high standard of technical service to all incoming theatre companies and users of the venue.  The Sound Technician has specific overall responsibility for sound production, design and operation for the varied activities within the building, and the ideal candidate will therefore require an all-round understanding of, and competence in, theatre technical work including lighting, audio-visual, and the set-up, operation and maintenance of technical equipment.

If you possess a formal qualification in stage management or technical theatre with a specialism in sound design, production, engineering and mixing live sound we would be delighted to hear from you.
