Women & Photography: Fourteen

Women & Photography: Fourteen was the first ArtsLab project focusing on visual arts rather than performance. It brought together a group of early-career female photographers.

About the Project

From 1 June – 15 November 2021, the group met regularly to develop ideas and create new work, facilitated by North Wall Propeller artist Philippa James. The project resulted in an exhibition using the number 14 as its catalyst, curated by the group to include up to three final works by each artist.

The exhibition took place during Photo Oxford Festival 2021 (15 October – 15 November 2021), which explored the theme Women And Photography: Ways Of Seeing And Being Seen.
