The North Wall Youth Board is back with another exciting event!
The SUPERSIZE Pick ‘n’ Mixer is a collaborative celebration of the Youth Board and the Participation team. You are invited to enjoy an afternoon of activities, opportunities and new beginnings as we round off the year.
Come and join us for an exciting supersized-Sunday:
- Explore the Discovery Zone – live music plus cake & craft stalls run by our young participants, championing the various groups on offer: OX2 Collective, Weekly Drama, Camera Club and, of course, the Youth Board!
- Get your groove on in the Party Zone – with the combination of neon face-paint, bangin’ tunes, lights and games, you won’t be able to resist the disco-fever!
- Cool off in the Chillout Zone – a comfy corner to cosy-up or catch your breath; enjoy some sensory play and take a break between activities.
- Find Your Voice in the Feedback Zone– the writing’s on the wall so tell us what you think, what you want and what you’ve loved! Big ideas and big voices welcome.
The afternoon will also include a presentation in the theatre where we’ll share and celebrate the many achievements of all our participants – and their supportive families – with mini Spotlight Speeches, an interactive Q & A and a wonderful short film starring communities and contributors throughout the past year – that’s YOU!
All activities are included in the price of your ticket, but please bring cash with you for tasty bottomless squash and cakes. Fancy something hotter, or a refreshing tipple? The bar will be serving tea, coffee, cold beverages and snacks, purchasable via card payment.
All funds raised will directly support the continuation of The North Wall’s Youth Board and our participation department, so that we can keep on offering amazing and accessible arts opportunities to local young people and families.
