A unique opportunity to explore the fast-growing dance form Kathak with the award-winning Amina Khayyam Dance Company.
Three days of intense Kathak technique – rhythmic footwork with mathematical compositions – and ang abhinaya – the language of gestural expression – will equip participants to create work that will be performed as a curtain-raiser for the company’s new work, Story of One, Story of Many, on 1 March 2024.

About the workshop
This three-day in-person course runs from 10.30am – 4.30pm each day in the Dance Studio at The North Wall. Participants must book for the full three days and be available on 1 March for the curtain-raiser.
Our experienced workshop facilitators are DBS checked and there is always a first aider and fire marshal in The North Wall building.
