The Crick Crack Club: Baba Yaga

With Ben Haggarty & Sarah Liisa Wilkinson

The Crick Crack Club is the UK’s leading performance storytelling producer, creating ‘exuberant, intelligent, wild, weird and wonderful events’.

For this event, their founder and storytelling pioneer Ben Haggarty is joined by one of the brightest new talents in British storytelling, Sarah Liisa Wilkinson. They bring us two stories, both of which feature the mysterious figure from Slavic folklore Baba Yaga: ‘Vasilisa & the Doll’ and ‘Brother & Sister’. Expect powerful drama and gripping intrigue.

Part of the Oxford International Song Festival 2025, this event is followed by Baba Yaga: Songs & Dances of Death, which takes place in the Olivier Hall at St Edward’s School.
