St Edward’s School: Emergence

Emergence celebrates the work of the pupils studying IB Art at St Edward’s School. The work exhibited ranges from cyanotypes and hyperbolic origami, to sculpture and textiles.

Anu Trew explores identity through various manipulations of the human form. Savannah Orchard also explores identity and makes very personal work
looking at her Indonesian and South African cultural heritage. Alice Skilbeck looks at the art of drawing in its variety of forms and Flossy Ames explores portraiture through a digital lens. Honor Kidd-May has taken a different perspective on emergence and makes work on organic matter, focussing on the patterns and fragility of mushrooms.

The variety of media investigated in the IB Art exhibition is always one of the highlights of The North Wall calendar and this promises to be another exciting exhibition.
