OxBright Festival

An International Youth Arts Festival

The North Wall is delighted to partner with UCEC to deliver the inaugural OxBright Festival: an international youth arts festival.

We believe that art is a powerful tool to educate, inspire and connect with young people and our community.

We believe that all young people should have the opportunity to experience art of the highest quality.

We believe in facilitating spaces for young people to create and present artistic outputs.

What is it?

An arts festival for children and young people aged 8 – 17 to participate in creative workshops, Q&A sessions, watch performances and perform with their school/community group on a professional stage.

In the lead up to the festival, select school/community groups will be preparing and rehearsing a performance to transfer to The North Wall for OxBright Festival. These groups will also take part in workshops over the festival week.

Public audiences are invited to watch the shows in the theatre.

Who is it for?

This is a festival for young people to celebrate work on an international stage, we hope to welcome groups from England, China, Argentina and beyond.

Our current partners are UCEC, Edward Field Primary School, Cutteslowe Primary School, Wolvercote Young People’s Club and St Clare’s Summer School.
