Dear Future Me…
It can seem on the outside that life is simple for most; for nine former classmates it feels anything but. It’s been ten years since they last took to the stage together and as they sort through boxes of old costumes and props, it’s memories and motivations that they rediscover.
Words leap from the page once more – echoes of who they used to be – with the potential to unlock youthful imagination, or doubt around who they have become. As the curtains threaten to close for the final time, they find themselves re-treading the boards hoping to keep some of the magic alive.
Devised and staged by members of The North Wall YouthLab company, this original production asks if the echoes of who we used to be can help us shape what happens next – and even call to us in the moments we need to hear them the most.
