As the war in Ukraine enters its third year, it’s hard to know how to help. Bohdana and Nadiia, two young producers, provide an opportunity to both show your support and experience at first hand the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine.
Through music and dance, they have created a personal expression of how their lives changed forever on 24 February 2022. Via individuals who have sought refuge in our country, we hear the real stories of the people behind the headlines.
Expressed through the voices of a select group of talented Ukrainian performers, Don’t Close Your Eyes is an evening of singing and dancing, set against never before seen footage of what’s happening on the ground. It is also a moving tribute to the bravery of those on the frontline and their families.
This is a benefit performance for Ukraine, but it is also a raw and moving appeal to our humanity.
