A unique evening with the Polish British guitar virtuoso – Adam Palma – an outstanding guitarist, professor of jazz guitar at the Music Academy in Gdańsk and lecturer at the University of Salford – will perform for the first time with his original programme in Oxford! Known for collaborating with guitar legends such as Al Di Meola, Tommy Emmanuel, and top Polish musicians, including Leszek Możdżer, Palma will present material from his acclaimed album “Adam Palma Meets Chopin”, recognized by the Chicago Tribune as one of the most important jazz releases of 2020.

Special guest: Adeb Chamoun – a Syrian drummer, specializing in Arabic, Persian and Latin American styles, will bring unique rhythms and world sounds to the concert.
About the artist
Adam Palma is the first Polish guitarist to be featured on the covers of prestigious guitar magazines in Germany (Akustik Gitarre) and Italy (Chitarra Acustica). He has given concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, among others, and his list of collaborators includes such names as Ewa Bem, Edyta Górniak, Janusz Olejniczak and Krzesimir Dębski.
Winner of the Bronze Medal “Gloria Artis” and the title of professor awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, for his services to Polish culture.
