Join us in October half term to learn how to use clay to make a component Vase!
This project will explore various forms of making including, potter’s wheel, extruding clay and different types of hand building. We will be designing and making your component vases to be decorated with slips, this type of decoration is traditionally called slipware and was one of the most prominent forms of pottery decoration in the UK till more modern kilns were developed.
This project is perfect for first timers and advanced potters alike. What will you make?
