Ab has no intention of going quietly into ‘that good night’ but Bobby wants anything for a quiet life. The jogger needs space to work something out. Three people, a park bench, an autumn day – Hole takes a wry look at loneliness and the pleasure of carving happiness out of the smallest moments.

Salad Day

Written by Deirdre Kinahan
Directed by Ruth Readshaw

A bittersweet comedy about Sean and Patricia, refusing to simply live out their later years in residential care and forging a friendship as they rediscover themselves from memories of love and adventure. They learn to life in the present while care worker Jan tries his best to make them comfortable and happy – and learns a thing or two himself about the resilience of the human spirit.
