Aged 12-17? Interested in dance? Join Richard Chappell Dance this February half term to create a short new work drawing off the messages and creative processes which are found within the ensembles’ collaboration with critically acclaimed sculptor Anna Gillespie, Still Touch.
The project will be lead by RCD dancers Francesco Migliaccio and Faye Stoeser, and explore how contact work can energise groups of people to connect together, alongside training and incorporating RCD’s signature combination of ballet and contemporary dance.
The project will work towards devising a curtain-raiser piece, to be performed immediately before Richard Chappell Dance’s Still Touch on Friday 6 March at Pegasus Theatre as part of Dancin’ Oxford Festival.
A limited number of free bursary places are available. To apply, please contact Abie Walton, participation officer, on firstname.lastname@example.org (Applications close 31 January)
