The North Wall

Getting to The North Wall

The North Wall is situated in South Parade, a one-way street with car access possible only from Banbury Road. There is very limited on-street parking on the vicinity, although parking is permissible in South Parade on the single yellow line after 4pm. In general visitors are advised either to use one of the two public car parks in Summertown (see street map) about five minutes' walk from The North Wall, or to take a bus from the Pear Tree park and ride (see directions below).

Approaching from the M40 by car
The North Wall is 7 miles from the M40 Junction 9 (southbound) and Junction 8 (northbound).

Buses to the North Wall
From Oxford City Centre (Magdalen Street, stop C4)

No. 6 bus - every 15 minutes
Get off at South Parade stop, and cross the road into South Parade. The North Wall is 100 yards up the road on your right.

No 200 or X1 bus - 5 minutes and 35 minutes past the hour from 09.35 to 17.35. (on Saturdays this bus leaves from Gloucester Green, bay 8). Get off at South Parade stop, and cross the road into South Parade. The North Wall is 100 yards up the road on your right.

From Pear Tree Park and Ride (£1 per car) Bus leaves every 10 minutes (£2 return fare). Get off at South Parade stop. Walk 30 yards back up the road and turn right into South Parade. The North Wall is 100 yards up the road on your right.

From Oxford Rail Station (stop R5) No. 20 or 20A bus - 10 minutes and 40 minutes past the hour from 09.10 to 16.10. Get off at South Parade stop, and cross the road into South Parade. The North Wall is 100 yards up the road on your right.
