FROM THE NORTH WALL TO LATITUDE
4th Aug 09
The National Student Drama Festival Ensemble (NSDF09 Ensemble), following their residency at this year’s North Wall Festival, travelled east to Suffolk for Latitude Festival in mid-July. Chris Thorpe’s new piece ’Touched’ was rehearsed and performed at the North Wall and went on to receive critical acclaim at Latitude. As in the previous two years, the North Wall has been a major sponsor of the NSDF Ensemble, in line with its mission of providing free educational and creative opportunities for young people from across the UK.
’Thanks so much for everything in Oxford and Latitude. I had such a wonderful time and feel like I learned so much. I can’t begin to tell you how glad I am that the brilliant magic that is NSDF came into my life.’ Claire Unwin (Script Editor for ’Touched’)
