"The most moving exploration of the theme of loss" - The New York Times

Eurydice is in love with Orpheus. Her dead father has advice for her wedding but his letters can’t get through to the land of the living. At last one does. With her father’s words in her hand, she crashes down a flight of stairs and wakes in the underworld, her memory wiped. How will she ever get home?
Alice in Wonderland meets Greek myth in this playful and heart-breaking American take on a timeless tale of loss, grief and redemption, by the hugely celebrated Sarah Ruhl. This UK premiere is created by the team behind the multi-award winning hit ’The Brothers Size’.

The Company
ATC aims to make fresh, bold and ambitious new productions for as wide an audience as possible, and their work is made by bringing together emerging and established artists from both the UK and abroad. They combine contemporary playwriting with devised work and innovative productions of classic texts.
